Most of the time horses/riders are confused and frustrated because of communication break down from the ground to the saddle. If your horse does not understand and does not respect you eye to eye (from the ground) he/she will have a hard time understanding you or respecting you from the saddle. Balance is important for all riders/breeds and disciplines of riding from trail, jumping, english, western, drill, shooting, field trail, etc. All horses, ponies, mules, etc. are more willing to perform anything from the simplest task to the hardest when the communication is understood and the balance is there to perform. Maybe your horse is nervous and needs confidence or your horse is aggressive and needs to learn respect. Teresa can help show you how to move towards a more positive relationship with your horse.

Ty Woodham- Starting, Problem Solving, Trail, Ground Work

Ty Woodham is 14 years old and is a natural with horses! He has successfully trained 5 two year old horses. He uses a combination of training exercises commonly seen used by Clinton Anderson, Pat Parelli, Craig Cameron, and Chris Cox.

Ty trained his own personal horses as well. His 4 year old gelding can be ridden without a bridle and will do a sliding stop with the slightest seat movement. He has also competed successfully in several trail competitions.
